ERROR/PROBLEM
Computer Hangs Clicking Close Button in Close Program Dialog Box.
When you click the Close button in the upper-right corner of the Close Program dialog
box, your Windows 98-based computer may stop responding.
CAUSE
This behaviour can occur if you are using a Universal Serial Bus (USB) mouse. The Close
Program dialog box is displayed under the context of the fault thread, and the WDM
driver message for button up sent by the USB mouse driver cannot be delivered to the
window.
ERROR/PROBLEM
Unable to Use the My Documents Shortcut on the Desktop.
When you double-click or right-click the My Documents shortcut on the desktop, you
may receive the following error message:
Explorer
This program has performed an illegal operation and will be
shut down.
If you then click Details, you may see either of the following informational messages:
Explorer caused a stack fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at (address)
Explorer caused a stack fault in module SHDOCVW.DLL at (address)
CAUSE
This problem can occur if the value of the Personal value in the following registry key
does not have the path to the My Documents folder or is blank:
